David Lund

David is a born-and-raised Idahoan, from Coeur d’Alene. He has spent the majority of his career in the administrative and customer service fields, gaining experiences in everything from food service to government. David has a passion for helping men and women regain their lives after being incarcerated because he knows firsthand how difficult that transition can be. He has spent 15 years incarcerated in Idaho’s prison system himself and has first-hand knowledge of the obstacles faced by those incarcerated who are trying to get their life back on track after being released. David feels strongly that systemic change is necessary. Reforms to the way our criminal justice system operates from the moment a person is arrested until they complete their sentence must be made in order to ensure our communities are safe, our incarcerated citizens are rehabilitated and to decrease the burden incarceration places on our society. He serves as the President of our Board of Directors as well as Executive Director.
