Our History

BarNone, Inc. is a non-profit that was formed to offer grace and advocate for and encourage formerly incarcerated citizens returning to their communities. We believe that an inclusive, welcoming community full of people with open hearts and minds makes a world of difference in the lives of those struggling to reintegrate into society. Getting them on their feet is in the best interest of our community as a whole.

BarNone’s signature event is an annual “release party” welcoming returning citizens back into the community. This event includes motivational speakers, dinner, community resources and prizes. The speakers come from all walks of life: former inmates that have been successful at integrating into society, public officials, correctional professionals, and authors.
